EthanSt. Germain

Founder · Fractional Controller

Ethan has led finance through some of the most demanding situations a controller can face.

He served as controller during Finlandia University's closure. Since 2024, he has been controller for a regulated, multi-entity company through a wind-down and acquisition.

Superior Saints LLC brings that same steadiness to growing businesses: accurate numbers, a clear view of cash, and finance processes that hold up under change.

05 / FAQ

Questions.

Are you a CPA firm?

No. Superior Saints LLC provides fractional controller services: finance operations, financial reporting, and cash flow management. We are not a CPA firm and do not provide attest, audit, or tax services. We work alongside your CPA and keep your records organized for them.

How is a controller different from a bookkeeper?

A bookkeeper records transactions. A controller oversees the close, reporting, and controls, and helps you understand what the numbers mean.

Why fractional instead of a full-time hire?

You pay for the scope you need, without a full salary, benefits, or a months-long search, and the engagement scales up or down with your business. A full-time controller makes sense once the workload truly requires it.

How many hours will we need?

It depends on volume and complexity. We recommend a scope after the free consultation and adjust as your needs change.

How do engagements work?

Engagements are primarily remote. We work in your existing accounting software and systems, alongside your team.
